Biscottes yarns is very pleased to present the new free knitting pattern designed by Patricknits! Knitted with our new Bis-Sock Speckled colors, this pattern is really fantastic!

This design is knitted from the cuff down. While knitting this sock pattern, the result reminded me of a play I had the chance to see in England: The Phantom of the Opera. "Lever de rideau" which means "curtain up" in English is a name that came to my mind for this pattern that intertwines cables with the butterfly stitch which is achieved by slipping stitches.

IN ADDITION TO THE KNITTING PATTERN, YOU WILL NEED FOLLOWING MATERIAL TO KNIT THE LEVER DE RIDEAU SOCKS :

SIZE: adult medium/large (foot length is adjustable)

GAUGE: 32 stitches x 40 rows = 10 cm X 10cm in stockinette stitch.

NOTE : This pattern can be worked with a set of 5 double-pointed needles or circular needles. In the case of double pointed needles, please distribute half of the stitches on needles 1 and 2 and the other half of the stitches on needles 3 and 4.

This pattern is offered as a PDF document. You must add the pattern to your cart, follow the steps to check out & a link to download the pattern will be emailed to you ♥

Good knitting! ♥

Attractive and easy lace pattern

I am commenting on the instructions as I have not started to knit these socks. The instructions are very good and clear. I’m delighted that there is a chart for the lace instep since it makes everything so much easier to do. Im looking forward to making these socks soon.
