Introducing one of our most popular sock designs with new color kits, Les Moutons de Biscotte! 🐏
Les Moutons de Biscotte (meaning Biscotte's sheep in French) was created by Louise Robert in 2012 and has been knitted hundreds of times since its release.
Over a decade later, we are happy to offer you an updated version of our kits, including our hand-dyed self-striping yarn!
The pattern is designed for fun, allowing you to combine our self-striping yarns with our semi-solid colors and watch the adorable sheep appear along the way. It's an ingenious way to combine your love of knitting, wool, and sheep in one project!
EACH KIT INCLUDES:
- The pattern Les moutons Biscotte ( sent as a PDF files)
- 1x BISCOTTE YARNS - BIS-SOCK YARNS [85% merino sw, 15% nylon, 400 meters per 100g skein].
- 1x BISCOTTE YARNS - SELF-STRIPING BIS-SOCK [85% merino wool, 15% nylon, 400 meters per 100g skein] [85% merino wool, 15% nylon, 400 meters per 100g skein].
IN ADDITION TO THE KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE MATERIALS LISTED BELOW TO KNIT THE PATTERN LES MOUTONS DE BISCOTTE:
- NEEDLES circular or dpn’s of 2.5 mm (US #1.5) and 3 mm (US #2.5) or size needed to obtain gauge.
- Tapestry needle
GAUGE
- 30 stitches = 10 cm; 4 inches in stranded colorwork with 3 mm (US #2.5)
32 stitches = 10 cm; 4 inches in stockinette stitch with 2.5 mm (US #1.5)
SIZES
ADULT Circumference: Small/Medium (Large/Large/T-Large); foot length is adjustable.
