Here is the perfect pattern to play with self-striping yarns and mix and match your favorite colours!

This shawl is an original design from Amy Gunderson for Biscotte Yarns. It was created specifically to highlight our Self-Striping yarn lined with matching semi-solid colors. We reworked this model in 2022 to showcase the collection of PatricKnits and Louise Robert.

In addition to the shawl pattern, you will need the following materials to knit Cabin on Fire:

  • PatricKnits Signature (85% merino superwash, 15% nylon; 400m /100g) / Phantom Shadow (A)
  • Louise Robert Yarns Super-Sock (75% merino superwash, 25% nylon; 400m /50g) color Music of the night (B)
  • Biscotte Yarns (85% merino superwash, 15% nylon; 400m /100g) / Wisteria (C) – 100g / Dove (D) – 100g
  • US Size 4 (3.5 mm) two 40”/100 cm circular needles and two DP needles.
  • 4 stitch markers;
  • Tapestry needle
  • Cable needle

Gauge: 22 sts x 38 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter st

Finished Measurements: Depth in Center: 37”/94 cm & Width along Top Edge: 75”/190.5 cm

Pattern Notes: This shawl is worked in a modular fashion from the top down.
