Knit Evelyn Siatra's beautiful, colorful and fun cardigan pattern!!!
With its highly visual jacquard – striped pattern and contrasting trims, the Danae cardigan boasts a unique bold look. The open-fronts, lined pockets, and modified drop-shoulder construction create a warm and comfortable fit, perfect for the heart of winter.
In addition to the pattern, you need the following materials to knit the Danae pattern:
- Louise Robert Design Collection – Merino Worsted (100% Merino superwash, 200 m / 220 yds, 100 g):
- MC – Chopin 5 (5, 5, 6, 7, 7, 7, 8) skeins.
- CC1 – Ann Boleyn: 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins.
- CC2 – Chardon: 1 skein.
- CC3 – Loch: 1 skein.
- CC4– Irish Girl: 1 skein.
- CC5 – Klimt: 1 skein.
- 4 mm (US #6) Circular needles with cable length of 40 cm (16") &+. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
- Tapestry needle
- Markers
- Waist yarn for tubular CO.
SIZES : XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL).
To fit 71 (81, 91.5, 101.5, 112, 122, 132, 142, 152.5) cm / 28 (32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60)" bust circumference with 25 cm / 9 ¾"ease. Refer to the table at the end of this document for complete final measurements.
Sample shown in Size S, 100 cm / 39 ¼" bust worn with 25 cm / 9 ¾" ease.
GAUGE : 20 sts and 27.5 rows = 10 cm (4") in Stockinette stitch after wet blocking.
NOTES : The back, fronts, and sleeves are worked flat from the bottom up and sewn together. The cast on is made with the tubular cast-on method. Read each section for your size throughout before beginning knitting.
