Stratum Socks

I really like the idea of the sideways garter stitch leg, however I modified the heel treatment, i.e.: I only knit the leg, and picked up the stitches for the gusset heel, then continued the sock as normal in the round. I'm looking forward to knitting the reverse pair, i.e.: legs and feet in blue; heels and toes in green! Thank you for an easy, relaxing and successful knit!!

Love knitting flat

This is a fun knit. I'm always looking for a unique sock pattern and I like knitting the ankle/top flat. First sock came out a little large - wide around the ankle/arch. I decreased some stitches out to the toe.

Interesting construction!

I haven’t knitted this pattern yet. I was intrigued by the alternate direction for the leg section - excellent solution to too-tight cuffs!
