Biscotte is pleased to present the new knitting kits of the beautiful Novato shawl!

Original shawl design from Nazanin S. Fard for Biscotte Yarns and worked with our CashSilk Lace. Instructions includes charts and written stitch pattern.

Note from the designer:

I named this beautiful shawl after my hometown of Novato in Northern California. The shawl is worked from center back neck down to the edge. The different patterns represent the diversity of nature in this area.

The wonderful lace pattern at the neck area represents the grassy fields, followed by an area of stockinette which represents the Novato creek, and trellis framed leaves pattern represents different native trees such as Redwood, Oak, etc.

The edging represents the beautiful hillsides that change color with the change of seasons.
