• Circular needle of 4 mm (US 6) with cable length of 40 cm / 16 in. or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle

MEASUREMENT

Height: 19 cm / 7.5 in.

Circumference: 59.5 cm / 23.5 in.

GAUGE:

29 sts & 28 rounds = 10 cm / 4 in. in colorwork pattern after blocking.

NOTE

The Mirrored Cowl is worked lengthwise using the stranded colorwork technique before sewing the cast-on and bind-off edges together. The two sides of the cowl mirror each other by alternating the background and pattern colors.

On the first side, color 1 is used for the background and color 2 is used for the pattern while on the second side, this is reversed with color 2 used for the background and color 1 for the pattern. Each side is separated by a single purl column which acts as a seam, separating the two sides
