Introducing one of the patterns from our Biscotte  Mystery Socks Club: the Hibiscus Socks! Designed by Louise Robert, these socks are part of the September 2024 edition.

Hibiscus first captivated my senses as a delightful infusion. I was immediately taken by its tangy flavour and the beautiful pink hue it lends to herbal teas. A few years ago, I stumbled upon a hibiscus plant on sale at the end of the season. Although it was adorned with a slightly faded flower, I felt drawn to it. I brought it home and planted it in front of my house without many expectations.
To my amazement, it bursts into life each spring and grows throughout the summer, gracing me with magnificent, majestic flowers that bloom in autumn. This larger-than-life flower has left an indelible impression on me. Therefore, for the September Biscotte Mystery Sock Club, I've decided to pay homage to the hibiscus in all its splendour! - Louise Robert ♡

SIZE

Adult woman circumference. Foot length is adjustable.

GAUGE

36 sts = 10 cm – 4” in Stockinette Stitch

NOTE

This pattern can be knit with a set of 5 double-pointed needles or circular needles. With double-pointed needles, spread half of the stitches on needles 1 and 2 and the other half on needles 3 and 4. It's important to account for the reduced elasticity when working on stranded colorwork knitting. To address this, extra stitches are added to these rounds and are worked with a slightly larger needle size. If you are comfortable with your stranded colorwork tension, you can use the same needle to work the entire sock.

ENJOY! ♥

This pattern is sold in a digital pdf format: a link to download your pattern will be provided once the order is completed and you will also get this link by emailbmake sure to check your spams if you can't find the email in your inbox)
