Cables plus Garter equals Carter!! The Carter Tank is a beginner friendly design that is knit in Garter Stitch for its lovely texture and featuring a cable pattern front and center! Another beautiful design by Andrea Yetman ♥

This tank is meant to be worn with very little to no positive ease. Wear it alone or layered over a tee to keep it in your wardrobe all year long!

YARN

Cheval Blanc Indy – 51% cotton, 7% silk, 7% linen, 15% acrylic and 20% polyamide. Sample uses: Naturel 016 - 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins

or

Kakigori by Noro - 50% cotton/ 30% silk/ 10% viscose/ 10% polyamide. The pattern is illustrated in Himeji #12 - 1 to 2 balls of Kakigori yarn.

NEEDLES

  • Main Fabric: 4mm (US#6) – Circular needles of at least 22” (56cm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • Ribbing: 3.5mm (US#4) – Circular needle of at least 22” (56cm) and preferred needles for small circumference knitting.

NOTIONS

GAUGE |18sts and 26 rows = 10 cm (4”) on 4mm in garter stitch.

SIZES | XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL)

PATTERN NOTES

The Carter Tank is knit bottom up in the round and then separates at the arm opening and knit back and forth. The shoulder stitches are binded off using the 3 Needle Bind Off. Stitches are picked up around the neck opening and binded off using the I-cord Bind Off.

sizes are off

so the XXL (largest size) is 40 inches, I am glad I didn't pay for this pattern as 40 inches is NOT an XXL
