My favorite season is Summer and I wanted a project that I could take on all my hiking adventures to hold special memories. The inspiration came to me during winding paths, signs pointing the directions and the rolling waves of the ocean in the background. I found these stitches easy to memorize once getting into them which made this project so enjoyable to take and work on, on the go. This wrap holds special memories of the summer for me and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. - Andrea Yetman

THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDES

IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Circular needles of 4.5 mm (US 7) - or size required to obtain the gauge.
• Stitch markers (2)

• Tapestry needle

GAUGE

11 stitches = 5 cm (2'') in wave section blocked

NOTE

This is a special take on a rectangular wrap in the shape of an arrow. This shape is made by decreasing on the outside edges and increasing on both sides of the central stitch on every right side row. There are beginner friendly and easy to memorize stitches used throughout the wrap making it a very relaxing, “binge your favourite show" project. This shawl can be made a long as you’d like and also can be bound off when you feel like you’re done. Also, all stitch counts remain the same throughout so if you feel like repeating a section more than written you can! Have fun!!
