XO Socks | Knitting Pattern
This unisex sock pattern is a stranded colorwork pattern perfect to have fun combining our self-striping and semi-solid colours.
This model is a design by Aud Bergo Design written for our Mystery Sock Club!
In addition to the sock pattern, you will need the following to knit your pair of XO SOCKS:
YARN - Bis-sock yarn, 85% superwash merino wool, 15% nylon, 400 m/435 yds
- MAIN COLOR: 100 g of semi-solid color, shown in Violette.
- CONTRASTING COLOR: 50g of self-striping color, shown in Sky.
NEEDLES - Size 2.25 mm /1½ US (smallest needle) and Size 2.75 mm /2½ US (largest needle). For both sizes; two small circular needles (23 cm /9” or longer) or one long circular needle for magic loop. Alternatively, 5 double pointed needles. Adjust needle size to get correct gauge.
GAUGE -34 sts x 38 rnds = 4” or 10 cm in stranded colorwork pattern, knit in the rnd. Blocked
FINISHED MEASUREMENT: XS (S, M, L) (shown in size M)
- Foot circumference: 18 (20.5, 23, 24) cm /7 (8, 9, 9.5)”.
- Leg length, including cuff and heel flap: 23.5 (24, 24, 29) cm /9 (9.5, 9.5, 11.5)”
- Foot length: adjustable. As a guidance use 23.5 (24, 25, 26) cm /9.25 (9.5, 9.75, 10.25)” length, include toe.
Socks to be worn with negative ease 1-2 cm/0.4-0.75”.
