In addition to the knitting pattern, you need the following materials to knit Silken Lounge socks:
- Louise Robert Yarns Collection – DK Pure (90% Merino Superwash and 10% Silk, 238 m / 260 yds, 115g) – 2 skeins, 230g.
- Circular or double-pointed needles of 3.75 mm (US #5) (or size needed to obtain gauge), circular or double-pointed needles of 3.5 mm (US #3) (or size needed to obtain gauge).
- Cable needle
- Row counter
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle
GAUGE : 24 stitches x 32 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 3.75 mm
SIZE : Adult size
- Circumference unstretched: 17.5 cm; 7 in
- Foot length: adjustable
NOTE : The ribbed nature of this sock makes it suitable for many leg widths. There is plenty of stretch. These socks are knit from the toe up with an afterthought heel. For the comfort of the wearer, a princess sole is used. This means the smooth knit side of the sole is inside the sock.
