Because my mom is the best and she wants to knit a sweater just for me (with a little bit of sparkle, of course!!!), I wrote this pattern that is inspired by my hero to be knitted by my heroine - Louise
DK Pure 238m / 260yds / 90% Merino Superwash and 10% Silk.
GAUGE 24 sts & 30 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking.
SIZES A (B, C, D, E, F, G)
This yoke is worked from the top down with a positive ease of about 2-4 inches; 5-10 cm. You can adjust the length of the body and sleeves if needed, but keep in mind to adjust the yardage required as well. The yoke is featuring a stranded colorwork pattern where the center of the golden snitch is beaded. Another Golden snitch is also added on the right sleeve.
In addition to this pattern, I invite you to visit Biscotte’s blog on BiscotteYarns.com where you will find the following tutorials about: stranded colorwork, yoke increases, and how to bead a stitch.
Love this one, great pattern!
Very well written, and I love the yoke. Looking forward to start this.
I've been waiting for the Christmas chaos to end before I settle down to some ME knitting and this is top of my to-me-do list. Love, love, love the pattern xxx
Another great pattern - love the design
Love this pattern and what I have read of it. I look forward to starting it soon.
