HIGHLAND MARIE ANTOINETTE
This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns Louise Robert Design meticulously created this beautiful collection.
It's by studying the color pallets that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine all of the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.
MARIE-ANTOINETTE, the last queen of France before the French Revolution after which the monarchy was abolished, and the sovereigns executed. I discovered this character with the film Marie-Antoinette by Sofia Coppola starring Kirsten Dunst. I loved the film so much for its decorations and its costumes but even more particularly for its soundtrack on the piano by Dustin O'Halloran, in particular the pieces Opus 17 and Opus 23 which are a pure wonder that it is impossible for me to describe with words. - Louise
