Description

Initially released in 2018, the Camellia Teacup shawl is a design by Kirsten Kapur created for Biscotte Yarns. It is a lovely crescent-shaped shawl, originally knit with two skeins of La Douce MCN. Discover here our knitting kit suggestions for a NEW version of the Camellia Teacup shawl in SUPER-SOCK!

This pattern is composed of a mosaic pattern inspired by the "old style" tea cups with stripes and a lace border. The mosaic stitch is a great way to achieve a colorful effect using only one color per row.

This pattern is worked from the top down, beginning with a garter tab cast on. On two-row color changes, it is not necessary to cut the yarns: Carry the yarns loosely up the side.

NEW VERSION
The La Douce MCN sample is very similar to the Super-Sock, so the Camellia Teacup pattern included in our new kits is THE SAME.
Simply replace the colors originally suggested in La Douce MCN - (MC: Amber and CC: Shield, 1 skein each), among our new duo in Super-Sock, to then follow the pattern as shown 😉
