Description

This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns Louise Robert Design meticulously created this beautiful collection.

It's by studying the color pallets that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine all of the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.

At FONTAINEBLEAU in France, a prestigious castle has been erected which has been the home of several sovereigns over the past centuries. As part of a university trip to France, I had the chance to visit this place in which successive hosts ranging from François 1er to Napoleon III. This visit was a highlight of my trip when my imagination was at its peak, thinking of all the lives that had been animated between these walls. – Louise

Gorgeous Strawberry Thief

The Strawberry Thief colorway is beautiful. There are so many subtle colors - it’s a joy to knit. And the SuperSock base is soft yet strong. I love it and can’t wait to try another color when I finish the Summer Lovers socks for the knitalong. Recommend.

Super Sock The Kiss

As usual the wool was exquisite. Beautiful drape and yet knits into cozy socks.

So disappointed in this product. Not nearly enough yarn to reach the advertised 16” on the pattern. The photos on the pattern feature a shawl that must use at least twice as much yarn. This is more of a scarf than a shawl. Not worth the cost.

Love this supersock from Louise Robert. It's soft, easy to work with, and the colors are rich and saturated.
