Awesome projects ideas that you can do with Biscotte yarns for this Autumn Season

Have you ever tried to knit or crochet with Biscotte yarn?

If you haven’t, I would strongly recommend you trying it out! There are many various types of Biscotte yarns to choose from each with their own special properties. All Biscotte yarns are hand dyed with beautiful bright colors. No matter what the project is your working on, there is a Biscotte yarn that is available to make your project even more fun for you!

Biscotte has many fun and creative patterns available on their website to choose from including many seasonal patterns. One of my personal favorites for the autumn season is the sock pattern with the owls on it (you can find the August Pocus pattern). What is lovely with this pattern is that the colors of the yarn are very appropriate for the upcoming season. Not to mention you will be knitting little owls on socks that are a perfect for both adults and kids!

Another great project you can start for autumn is a cowl! I love cowls because they’re great for keeping you warm both indoors and outdoors. Many people tend to think a cowl is a complicated project, but there are many easy patterns meant for beginners.

My suggestion, if you want to put a little color in your wardrobe, is to buy “Biscotte Paint Boxes”. These kits come with 5 or 6 50g skeins per pack and have many assorted colors. My favorite paint box kit is the “Twinkle Twinkle”. This kit comes with Boreal yarn and is perfect to make your cowl cute and sparkly! If a cowl is not for you then maybe try at making a shawl. My two personal favorite shawl patterns are the “Biscotte Paint Box Shawl” and the “Biscotte Rainbow Shawl”.

These are both available here to download in our knitting pattern collection  and make for excellent starter kits!

My last suggestion for an autumn project would be a hat and hand warmers. These go well with the seasons color pallet and are great for those chillier days while raking the leaves!

One project I would recommend is the pattern called “Flight of the Phoenix”. If you are a Harry Potter fan then this project is meant for you! This project requires only 2 skeins of Biscotte Gobelin yarn which is has an excellent feel and is very nice to knit with.

The plus side is that this pattern is available online for only $5 US! There is nothing really more satisfying than being able to wear something that you have made yourself. So pick up one of these kits this autumn and start knitting, I’m sure you will have no regrets!
