In addition to the Garland of Stitches knitting pattern, the knitting kit includes the following yarns:
- Louise Robert Collection SUPER SOCK [75% merino, 25% nylon; 400 m / 100 g]
- 50g x Beige (A)
- 50g x Taupe (B)
- 50g x Speckled pink (C)
- 50g x Pale pink (D)
- 50g x Purple (E)
- 50g x Aigue Marine (F)
In addition and not included, you will need the following needles and notions to knit your wrap:
- Needles of 3.5 mm; US #4 (or size needed to obtain gauge) - preferably a circular needle of at least 40"; 100 cm to support the large number of stitches;
- Tapestry needle;
- Stitch markers if needed.
GAUGE: 22 sts = 10 cm; 4” before blocking.
DIMENSIONS AFTER BLOCKING: 158 cm; 62” x 32 cm; 12 ½”
NOTES: this pattern is worked lengthwise in back-and-forth rows. The garlands are knitted in German short rows and each garland is separated by a garter stitch band of 4 rows. For more details about German short rows and a video on this technique, visit our website here.
