"The place I go to sit, knit and listen to the sounds of the waves rolling in on the rocky shore. The colors of the ocean are dark and moody. Tiny flecks of green surround me as the trees are beginning to bud.
Everything I love about this place can be seen in this lovely skein of Renoir. The broken Garter Stitch mimics the waves, the color is everything around me, and the socks are a result of my passion for knitting." - Andrea Yetman
In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit the Topsail Beach socks :
- Biscotte Yarns – Louise Robert Design Collection in : SUPER SOCK: one 100g skein (438 yds) in color Renoir.
- 4 double-pointed needles (or circular needles for knitting in the round) 2.5mm.
- Tapestry needle.
- Stitch markers
SIZE – ONE SIZE Length of foot: adjustable.
GAUGE: 28sts = 10 cm – 4"
NOTE: These socks are knit from the top down using a very easy to memorize stitch pattern making them the ideal project to take to your favorite place.
