Description

We are very happy to introduce this new sock pattern by Andrea Yetman. You can get this sock model free of charge šŸ˜ Enjoy!!

These socks were knit on a very special trip to Montreal while staying in Longueuil. They travelled with me on all of my excursions and made an excellent travelling project as the pattern is very easily memorized. Using yarn from the inside and outside of a ball only requires taking one ball at a time. Having knit them and photographed them on a trip makes them a very special souvenir!! - Andrea

MATERIALS REQUIRED

SIZES | Small (Medium, Large)

  • Circumference of foot : 17.5 (20, 22.5) cm - 6 7/8 (7 3/4, 8 5/8)Ā²
  • Length of foot : adjustable

GAUGE | 32sts X 40 rows = 10 cm ā€“ 4Ā²

NOTE :

The socks in the photograph have been knit with Biscotteā€™s Metamoph Yarn (2 X 100g) making a beautiful contrast with a minimal gradient effect. Each sock is knit using the inside and the outside of the same ball to form the contrasting color. To maximize the effect of the color change, I recommend using Biscotteā€™s Mini-Metamorph Yarn (2 X 50g).

This pattern can be worked with a set of 5 double-pointed needles or circular needles. In the case of double-pointed needles, spread half the stitches on needles 1 and 2 and the other half of the stitches on needles 3 and 4.

This pattern is offered in PDF format. Add it to your cart and follow every steps to place your free order: a link to download the pattern will be provided at the end of order and you will also get a link to dowload the pattern by email ā™„.

I haven't tried it yet, but it's very pretty. It will be my first sock with two colors.
