This fabulous fingering weight yarn is made with an ecofriendly blend of fine merino and nettle, just like our wonderful Nettle Soft DK yarn!
Nettle is a highly sustainable low impact plant fibre resulting in a yarn that is warm in winter but breathes in summer. It gives this yarn drape, lustre, and great stitch definition, and adds a lovely contrast to hand dyed colours as it does not take colour itself.
Composition: 68% superwash merino wool / 32% nettle fiber
Weight / yardage: 3.6 oz (100 g) = approx. 385 yds (350 meters)
Recommended needle size: US#1.5-3 / 2.5-3.25 mm
Gauge: 27 -32m = 10 cm
