Fun Pattern

Great yarn. Love the softness of the fibers.
Fun pattern to make.

Excellent customer service

I order this kit along with some other self striping skeins, and am incredibly impressed with the dye jobs on each. Louise also made a special accommodation to my kit, which I really apppreciated. This is in my TBK stash, and I can't wait to make it!

I will definitely be ordering from Biscoe again!

Thank you Heidi for this nice review ;)

August Pocus

I have not started them yet, but I look forward to starting them and making the owls. These will be a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law.

Amendment to first review

I had to purchase the pattern separately in order to get the last page of the pattern which has the charts for the owls. I will use them to make a shawl to go with my socks.

first sock kit

First of all, the yarn is lovely! Just not the colour I thought it would be. Both the full and mini skein have a pinkish cast. Not my cup of tea but also not a deal breaker as it seems so nice. The beads don't match the colours at all, but I have plenty so I could swap out. The pattern is a nightmare though. The background images show through the charts making it very hard to read and the written pattern is full of errors. It was my first attempt at socks and I gave up after a full day. I'm thinking of figuring out the "owls" and using them as a motif and the yarn in a little shawlette. The yarn, as I said though, is very nice quality.
