This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns Louise Robert Design meticulously created this beautiful collection.
It's by studying the color pallets that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine all of the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.
HIMALAYAN RHUBARB is a plant of the rhubarb family native to the Himalayan mountains. It is the chrysophanic acid (a natural pesticide) in the rhubarb which contains a yellow-orange pigment that we use to dye our wool of the same name. - Louise

Whether you are knitting a scarf, a shawl or a sweater, there's nothing better than a beautifully crafted yarn designed by a passionate knitter for knitting enthusiasts.SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT NATURAL DYES
Due to their artisanal nature, hand-dyed wool skeins can be different from each other even if they both come from the same dye bath. By adding to the equation the use of vegetable dyes, you must know that there can be a great variation of the colors between the different lots. Since plant dyes are highly dependent on mother nature, variations can come from the plants themselves, the season, where the plant was grown and harvested and how tannins are stored. That said, natural colors are living colors that, once knit, magically develop and blend well together.
I'm looking forward to knitting with this yarn.
