This sock yarn from our collection of hand-dyed Marmicelle yarn is composed of 85% machine washable merino wool and 15% nylon.
With an unparalleled softness, you will want to knit more than just stockings, but also shawls, mittens, baby clothes!
Because of the random nature of speckled colorways, identical socks will not be possible. They will make coordinating socks, not an identical pair.
Each skein contains 100g(2x50g) of yarn, 400 metres of thread. This is more than enough to knit a pair of adult stockings.
♥ Now available in mini-skeins of 50g for a total 200 meters of yarn ♥
Use needles of 2.25 to 2.75 mm for a sample of 28 to 32 stitches = 10 cm.
Machine wash in cold water and dry flat.
IMPORTANT : About Speckled and Variegated hand-dyed yarns: because of the random nature of these colorways, identical socks and/or homogeneous color in other projects such as shawls or cardigans will not be possible even when using 2 skeins of the same dye lot. They will make coordinating socks, not an identical pair. It is best to switch rows between the skeins when carrying out your shawls, cardigans & other projects.

This is the most amazing color! Such a deep rich purple! I've got it lined up for a color work shawl before the summer is out. Bis-sock is so wonderful to knit with - soft, gorgeous colors always, and such great stitch definition!
I love working with Bis-sock! It's so nice and soft but still has really great stitch definition! The colors are really wonderful - the range of greens especially is so appealing! I just finished a pair of twisted stitch socks in Limette and they are just a breath of spring!
I love making socks (and shawls) with Bis-sock. It has great stitch definition, is wonderful soft in the hands to work with, and has the best colors. I recently used Farfadet to make a pair of colorwork socks and it looked fantastic!
I thought it was navy and yellow, turned out to be purple and yellow. It will still make fun socks, just not the right colors for the sports team. Oh, well.
This yarn has stunning color and feels wonderful to the touch. I just wish I had realized that I could have gotten it in DC. Either way, it's wonderful!
