Here is the perfect pattern to get you in the mood for Easter or just for the pleasure of knitting an original pair of socks! This design was written by Nadya Stallings for Biscotte Yarns.

    In addition to the pattern, you will need the following to knit the Chicken Dance socks

          Sizes: S (M, L)

          Measurements:

          • 75 (20.25, 26.75) cm / 7 (8, 9)” foot circumference;
          • 38 cm /15” length rib to heel;
          • 23 (25.5, 28) cm / 9 (10, 11)” foot length.

          Gauge: 26 sts and 37 rows = 4" /10 cm in stockinette stitch.

          Notes: The socks are worked from cuff to toe. The work begins with 2x2 Rib worked flat and cont in St.st (flat) with intarsia colorwork to ankle. Foot portion is worked in the round.

          This is an interesting pattern and construction. Part is knit flat and part in the round. I can’t wait to get started on it!
