Enjoy this FREE pattern to knit our new yarn ♥ The Highland Hug cowl by Louise Robert was designed with our new Highland yarn made from 100% untreated Peruvian wool!

The design of this collar is inspired by Elizabeth Zimmermann's famous Snail Hat. The stitch pattern is pleasant and beginner-friendly, is easily memorized, and generates an interesting texture.

Easy pattern

This was a quick knit, but has a bit of interest with the swirl. I had to do a bit of math to adjust the number of stitches because of the yarn I was using, but that was quite simple. I’ve already worn it twice and had several compliments. I’ll post a photo of the finished project on Ravelry soon.

Love the pattern and yarn

I bought the Highland Hug kit because I loved the pattern (free!) and the yarn and especially that color of red. I made the cowl in 2 days in the evening, just in time for the cold weather. So soft against your skin and a looser fit. Perfect.
